The “invitation” systembench was especially developed for promoting interdisciplinary teamwork. “invitation” consists of modular system elements with which individual, double or group workstations can be built. In the centre of the spacious desk landscape there is an innovative organisation level, to the function sections of which monitor swivel arms, task lamps, screening and sound-absorbing elements can be quickly fixed. Further more sheet metal boxes can be fixed on the organisation level, with which the working places can be organized and screened against each other in an individual way. Paper boxes, storing files boxes, hanging folder boxes, storage boxes with or without drawers are available. The freedom to spontaneously reconfigure this system is guaranteed thanks to an easily accessible cable channel under the organisation level.

Mosa LED (Linea LED / Terra LED) Ceramic tiles with integrated LED lighting
Manufacturer: Royal Mosa, Maastricht, Netherlands
Design: Royal Mosa, Mosa Design Team, Maastricht, Netherlands

Mosa LED is a ceramic tile with integrated LED lighting. Suitable for interiors on walls and floors in public and domestic areas, both on heavily used floors as well as in wet rooms. Low power consumption and tested safety (24V). Long life span (50,000 up to 100,000 hours). Waterproof and shock resistant. The LED is incorporated in the tile ultra-thin and the thin fixture is optically hidden under the polycarbonate cover. This results in a monolithic one-of-a-piece tile as an integral part of the ceramic wall or floor. The installation is easy and allows for traditional tile fixing by a tiler in a single operation without installing slots or cabling in advance. Each tile is attached to a cable which is mounted to a connection point that can be situated at a distance. Mosa LED is available in the series Terra LED and Linea LED.

2SECONDS Quechua Self-erecting tent
Manufacturer: DECATHLON Villeneuve d’Ascq, France
Design: DECATHLON Vincent Chiffoleau Villeneuve d’Ascq, France

Who has never dreamt of a tent that could erect itself without any help? – Just throw 2SECONDS into the air and it will open up on its own before even reaching the ground. It is the spring hoops that enable this. The idea was to pre-assemble the different elements (room, double roof, hoops) to simplify the hiker’s life as much as possible. This is a real tent, with the following features: • Coated double roof with waterproof seams for excellent water resistance • Anti-condensation “breathing” room • Extra-strong polyester fabric • Ideal space for 2 people (1.45 m by 2.45 m) • 2 seconds to open it up • 15 seconds to fold it back 2SECONDS makes hiking more accessible, and is fast becoming one of the more popular “small dome” tents.

A tube made of bi-elastic fabric is slipped over a two-part steel pipe frame and zipped close. One part of the skeleton after the other is shoved into the covering. The structure is mapped on the double-layered fabric and projected to the outside. The boards glide into openings punched into the steel frame and snap in. The tension exerted by the fabric lends the shelf its stability. Flowing and airy the covering made of translucent stretch fabric clings to the supporting structure of the open shelf which is blending smoothly into the living area. CIRRUS, a cross between a mere object of utility and a sculpture, may be propped up against a wall or can stand.
